Continental Automotive Systems Brazil finalized negotiations in last December regarding the NVH Dynamometer Model M3900 acquisition from Link Engineering. The M3900 is the state-of-art equipment specifically designed for brake system noise evaluations. This is the second LINK M3900 NVH dynamometer sold to Brazilian customers.
The Link NVH Dynamometer M3900 recently acquired by Continental Automotive Systems Brazil provides full capability for performance and noise tests on brake systems assembled on axle suspension corners through appropriate fixtures, reproducing the noise emissions originated by the brake system utilization.
The M3900 evaluation system incorporates the state-of-art technology, providing excellent correlation between laboratory brake test evaluation and the real brake operation conditions on the vehicle.
The advanced characteristics of the ProLink ® control software provide full assistance to the machine operator or even a totally automatic operation without operator assistance.
The M3900 brake enclosure is designed to allow brake test on several environmental conditions, with many conditioning unit options. These units provide means of operating from the extreme cold to very high temperature ranges and in various humidity conditions.
This important technological acquisition will place Continental Automotive Systems Brazil in the same level of the most capable global enterprises, with the most modern NVH dynamometer to face the hardest demands of its local or foreign customers.
